The Red Dingo identity tags are made from hard-wearing polished stainless steel and are available in 3 different sizes. The designs are enamelled onto the steel and are very durable. Contact information can be engraved onto the reverse of the tags. The price includes engraving and if you are only ordering ID tags (and not any other items from the site) delivery is free. Our dog tags come in a range of 11 colours and 7 different designs.
DON'T FORGET TO INCLUDE THE ENGRAVING DETAILS AND THE DESIGN AND BACKGROUND COLOUR YOU REQUIRE IN THE FIELDS BELOW ABOVE PROGRESSING TO PAYMENT
Small: max. TWO lines (ideally with no more than 12 characters per line; we recommend placing mobile phone numbers in the middle line)
Medium: max. FIVE lines (ideally with no more than 12 characters per line and we would advise no more than 10 characters on the fifth line)
Large: max. SIX lines (ideally with no more than 15 characters per line and we would advise no more than 13 characters on the sixth line)
When ordering, please specify which details you and separate each line using '/'.
Here is an example: Smith / 3, EH54 9SG / 01506 343434
This will then appear as follows:
Smith 3, EH54 9SG 01506 343434
When placing your tag order you must select the size before proceeding to check out (you can select your desired size from the drop down menu above).
Your tag will be sent directly from Red Dingo (please allow up to 7 days for delivery) but if you experience any problems then please do not hesitate to get in touch with us at Just Dogs.
So, just to recap, the details we need are as follows:
Handy Hints: The Control of Dogs Order 1992 mandates that any dog in a public place must wear a collar with the name (your surname rather than the dogs name) and address (including postcode) of the owner engraved or written on it, or engraved on a tag. Your telephone number is optional (but advisable). If you are ordering a small tag and want a name and a number then house number followed by postcode (as per our example above) is sufficient. Some people feel the need to display the dog's name on the tag as a useful assistance if the dog should be found, while others feel this could be used in a more negative way, if a dog should be stolen.
