These Padded Hound Dog Collars have been handcrafted from a traditional bridle style English leather which has been tanned to give a luxurious rich and waxy feel, whilst still maintaining a soft supple texture. Slip collars are designed so that the collar will sit loose under normal use but tighten enough to be smaller than the dogs head to help prevent them backing out of the collar. Slip collars are popular with Sighthoung owners as they can often have necks of a similar size to their skull making it easier for them to back out of a standard style collar.
These dog collars are further enhanced with high quality chrome metalware, a soft padded suede style backing and perimeter stitching detail.
These Hound Collars are aware in 4 different sizes . Please measure carefully and if you are unsure do get in touch for some advice! When measuring you must measure around the head (over the widest part of the ears) and around the narrowest part of the neck, behind the ears. Care must be taken to ensure you do not order to small so the collar can fit over the head but also must not be too big otherwise it will tighten too much and may be uncomfortable/choke your dog when tightened.
- Italian Greyhound (Iggy) style - measures 9" at tightest adjustment - 12" at fullest adjustment (1.5" at widest point)
- Whippet style- measures 11.5" at tightest adjustment - 14.5" at fullest adjustment (2" at widest point)
- Greyhound Style- measures 12" at tightest adjustment - 17" at fullest adjustment (2" at widest point)
- Larger Hound/ Lurcher Style - measures 14" at tightest adjustment - 18" at fullest adjustment (2" at widest point)
