tough dog toys

One of the biggest problems we find dog owners experiennce with dog toys is their durability.  We frequently have customers coming into the store looking for the elusive "indestructible" dog toy.  And thus we set about the challenging task of researching what toys come out tops in terms of their durability, whilst still remaining fun for the dog.   This was no easy task and it is still a work in progress.  We asked for customer feedback and got a great response and we also scoured the market and looked at our US competitors product feedback and road tested a number of toys.

We always welcome further suggestions for new additions and feedback on the products we have already.  We must also remind people that we have yet to find a truly indestructible toy and even these tougher toys can be chewed through if the dog is extremely persistent and has power jaws and we have tried to provide as much honest information as we can.  Also please don't forget that for some dogs the fun is in the tearing apart.  You may find some dogs (often terriers are a good example) get their enjoyment from the challenge of ripping up toys and these more durable toy option may not offer as much enjoyment for them.  If you have just got your dog you may need to do some initial experimenation to establish what sort of toy your dog actually likes playing with and why.
