These high-end hound collars are made using only the finest, softest leather with the edges bevelled and painted. The collars are then treated with Saddle Soap so as to achieve the ultimate softness to ensure the utmost comfort for the dogs. This is all done by hand using a single piece of leather, which is riveted and not stitched, making the collars much stronger. The D Rings are made from solid cast metal, much stronger than the usual welded wire ones and the buckles have been tried and tested and super strong! The decorative studs are also made from top quality brass.

The collars continue to soften with wear due to the natural oils in the leather so they age beautifully and the colour does not scratch but deepens over the years. All these collars come with a 12 month guarantee.

All the collars are designed and completely handmade in a small workshop in Scotland and offer the ultimate combination of classic style and functionality.

If the collar gets muddy or wet just rinse of the mud with water and wipe clean with a soft cloth! Let the collar dry naturally but keep away from direct heat as this can cause leather to warp. All leather collars benefit from a bit of TLC (just like horse tack) and to get the best from your collar use saddle soap and neatsfoot oil (or other tack/leather conditioner) to keep in tip top condition!

The collars are available in 3 different sizes. The measurements detailed below are neck measurements rather than the overall collar length and we always recommend that you accurately measure your dogs neck (allowing for a bit of breathing space before you order!.) The width measurements relate to the widest part of the collar and the small size is best suited to whippet sized hounds :

• Small: To fit neck 11.5 - 14.5" (1.5" wide)
• Medium: To fit neck 12.5 - 17" (2" wide)
• Large: To fit neck 14.5 - 19" (2" wide)
