The Winning Recipe of our Homemade Treats Competition

Well done to Frankie and his Mum Patricia!  They have won our Doggy Treats Recipe Sharing Competition.  Patricia - would you like to collect Frankie's goodies the next time you are passing?  Thanks to everyone who contributed.  We are currently working on an idea suggested by Annie Begg, Tiber's Mum (thanks Annie) to make up a small recipe book and sell this for our Nominated Charities.  If any of our recipe contributors would not like their recipe shared in this book please let me know (we will of course acknowledge the doggies and their owners - first names only).

"Here's another favourite from my Christmas 2010 cookie collection - Wheat free tuna biscuits

1 cup yellow cornmeal; 1 cup oatmeal; 1/4tsp baking powder; 1/2 tsp garlic powder; 1 small can tuna in oil; 1/3 cup water.

Mix all in food processer until forms a ball, and knead for 3 minutes. Roll out to 1/4 inch, cut out and bake on 180 for 25 mins. delicious also with sardines and sardines in tomato!"
