Just Dogs Charitable Giving 2012
19 January 2012
2011 was a great year for fundraising for Just Dogs and we would like to go bigger and better in 2012 and are looking for your help to do this!
In 2011 our "Charity of the Year" was Many Tears Rescue. £1,205 was raised for them through collection box donations, our Pup Potrait Day, our Photoshoot Day and, of course, from the sales of our Calendar (all 200 were sold). Again a huge thanks to everyone who helped make this total possible!
In 2012 we want to increase our fundraising efforts and plan to support two charities. We have a fundraising target of £2,000. Ambitious it is, but we hope that with a little hard work and support from our fantastic customers that we will be able to achieve this!
This year we also hope you can help us decide who to support. We have shortlisted 10 charities (a mixture of Local and National charities) and are asking everyone to comment on who they wish us to support and the two charities with the most nominations will be selected. For your vote to count please comment on the post on our Facebook Page and detail your top TWO choices by Friday 27th January. For transparency it is easier for us to have all votes left on our Facebook Page but if you are keen to nominate a charity and don't have access to Facebook please e-mail your nominations to info@justdogsshop.co.uk. We will then count up the votes and select the two charities that we will be supporting.
Thanks in advance for your help. We always like to listen to what our customers think and greatly value your input!
