Mikki Nail Clippers (20% off RRP)
It is important to ensure that your dogs nails do not become to long and clippers aud safe and easy trimming
Price: £8.79 RRP £10.99Style: Large Nail Clippers
A dog with long, untrimmed nails will be prone to nail cracking, infection, paw injury, and nail breakage, which can be extremely painful. In some cases, a dog with a broken nail may require a costly de-shelling or trimming procedure that must be performed by a veterinarian while the dog is under anesthesia.
Whilst many dogs nails may not require trimming (either those that have naturally slow growing nails or those dogs that walk a lot on pavements which act as a natural file), many dogs will require regular nail trimming sessions. It is extremely important to ensure that you do not trim the nails to close as this can cut into the "quick" the blood vessel and this can be extremely painful.
Some handy hints for trimming your dogs nails are available here.
The nail clipers are available in two sizes:
- Small Clippers: For small to med breeds
- Large Clippers: For medium to large breeds
Please select the desired size from the styls on the right hand side of the page.
