Burns real dog food offers many benefits over most complete diets. It is more palatable than many dried foods so can be enjoyed by fussy dogs. Because Burns Dog Food is low residue, there is less to clean up - which is good for the environment. Burns use chicken meat, free range duck, ocean fish, UK pork, New Zealand Lamb and Venison as sources of quality protein, they do not use meat from battery hens.

Burns products are low in fat and protein and high in complex carbohydrate. There are no chemical additives. This minimises the amount of waste matter the body has to eliminate. When metabolised, carbohydrate produces less harmful toxic waste than protein and fat.

It is now well established that high intakes of protein and fat during puppyhood can lead to health problems in the adult, for example obesity and skeletal disorders, especially hip dysplasia. Burns Mini Bites contai n controlled levels of protein, fat and minerals to ensure that requirements for energy, muscle and bone development are met but not exceeded.
