Doggy Friendly Trip

30 Apr 2008

We thought we would share details of a recent trip we took with Daisy and Sam, our dogs.  We are always looking for doggy friendly places to stay in the UK and welcome any suggestions from other blogsters!

A couple of weekends ago we took a trip up to Perthshire.  We stayed in some Wooden Tepees at Loch Tay Highland Lodges and Equestrian Centre.  The tepees come in a variety of shapes and sizes with differing facilities.  At only £14 per person, per night they are great if you are on a budget.  Our tepee was warm, relatively spacious and had a kitchen, bathroom with shower and tv.  It also had a fantastic view right over Loch Tay.  The dogs loved it as you are right out in rural Perthshire (the holiday village is about 5 minutes outside of Killin).

These pictures show just what a good time Daisy and Sam had (although we couldn't get Sam to stay still long enough to get many shots of him!).

Don't forget to share your suggestions on doggy friendly places to stay!  Post a comment or e-mail us at info@justdogsshop.co.uk and we can let everyone else know!
