A doggy friendly hotel near Edinburgh

01 Oct 2009

Queensferry HotelI have just had a customer visit the shop.  He told me that he was staying in the Quensferry Hotel in North Queensferry &  they accept dogs & have been so welcoming to his dog.  I thought it may be a useful tip for others who perhaps plan to visit Edinburgh.

I have just called the hotel to double check and they adviced that they are very happy to accept dogs.  They did ask that the dogs be kept on a lead whilst in the hotel (outside of your room obviously) and in the hotel grounds.  They also mentioned that if your dog is very noisy it could cause a bit of an issue!

The hotel charges £5 per dog on top of the standard room charge.  The hotel is a nice hotel just over the other side of the Forth Road Bridge and there are lots of good walks nearby and easy transport into Edinburgh.

For more information on the hotel check out the Quensferry Hotel website.

Also if any does or has stayed there with their dogs we would love to hear from you so we can let others know.

We accept Mastercard, Visa, Delta, Maestro, Switch and Solo through the reputable secure payment provider Protx
