About us
Just Dogs stock a wide variety of dog accessories including dog beds, dog collars, dog leads, harnesses for dogs, dog treats, dog bowls, practical dog clothes, dog coats and dog toys.
At Just Dogs we also want to be able to offer doggy lovers the chance to spoil themselves, even if they don't have a dog to spoil and we offer a variety of doggy themed gifts.
Just Dogs was established in December 2006 by Gemma Johnstone. As a devoted dog owner and dog lover Gemma wanted to offer "doggy" people the chance to visit a shop that would offer different and unusual dog accessories and supplies for their beloved four legged friends. Whilst the online doggy market proves popular, Gemma wanted to give dog owners the opportunity to be able to visit a shop and see the products and try them out before purchasing.
After the launch of the shop in Edinburgh it was time to offer our products and quality services to a wider market and in May 2007 the Just Dogs online shop was launched.
We hope that you will enjoy browsing our site. Our products are regularly updated and we often have special offers and promotions available under our Barkin' Bargains section. We also try to keep our prices as competitive as possible and you will notice that often products are available below the RRP. If you don't see what you are looking for please don't hestitate to get in touch with us and we will try our best to help you source the right products. Just Dogs also offer a wide range of leading brands including Puppia, Outward Hound, A Breed Apart, Cmielow and Ruff Wear.
Just Dogs promotes responsible dog ownership and all our practical doggy products are accompanied with useful guidance, tips and messages to bring home the importance of looking after your dog in the best possible manner. We support the Scottish SPCA, Scotlands leading animal welfare charity. We also actively support the Dogs Trust and have a line of their branded merchandise available in our shop, with the profits all going to the charity.
The Shop in Stockbridge
Our shop in Stockbridge, Edinburgh provides a good opportunity to mix with like-minded people. Who knows, you and your four legged friend might meet a dog walking companion or dog sitter on one of your visits to the shop!
Being able to come in to the shop and chat through what you are looking for can be useful and Gemma will look forward to welcoming you and hearing what sort of products you would like to see going forward. You may also get a chance to say hello to Gemma's own dogs, Daisy and Sam, who sometimes come along to the shop and who both love to get a chance to say hi to visitors!
Our Edinburgh Shop is open Tues - Sat, 1000 to 1700 (except for Thurs when we are open 1100 to 1800).
